The Welcoming Garden Speaker Series

-Creating natural spaces and coexisting with wildlife

Join the Oklahoma Native Plant Network for The Welcoming Garden Speaker Series: Creating Natural Spaces and Coexisting with Wildlife, an inspiring evening dedicated to building healthier landscapes and learning how to live in harmony with the wildlife around us. This special event features nationally recognized authors Heather Holm and Nancy Lawson, two leading voices in ecological gardening and wildlife-friendly practices.

Discover how creating natural spaces with native plants can support pollinators, birds, and biodiversity, while also learning practical, compassionate approaches to coexisting with wildlife in our yards and communities. Whether you’re a gardener, conservationist, or simply curious about nature, you’ll leave with fresh ideas and actionable inspiration.

The evening will include engaging talks, Q&A sessions, book signings, and opportunities to connect with local conservation nonprofits and organizations working across Oklahoma.

Come learn, connect, and be inspired to create welcoming spaces for both people and wildlife.
