Symphyotrichum oblongifolium

Commonly known as the aromatic aster, this plant is highly prized for its profusion of rich blue or purple flowers that appear in late summer and fall. It's an excellent source of nectar for bees and butterflies and provides a great burst of color at the end of the season. It's also drought-tolerant and deer-resistant, making it a great choice for many gardens
